Reynolds and Reynolds Selects Semler IT to Serve the Danish Automotive Market
Semler IT to localize and deliver the Reynolds incadea system to automotive retailers throughout Denmark
DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 17 -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company today announced that it has chosen Semler IT, a division of Danish automotive services company Semler Services A/S, as a distributor and partner of the Reynolds incadea dealer management system for the Danish automotive market.
As part of the agreement, Semler IT will add incadea to its portfolio of product and solution offerings to the Danish automotive industry. The company will be responsible for customizing the incadea system to meet local language and business rule requirements.
Based in Brondby, Denmark, Semler IT has nearly 40 years of experience in developing IT solutions for the automotive industry. They have more than 60 employees and serve a solid customer base that includes VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Porsche.
Peter Wenger, vice president and general manager, Reynolds International, said, "We are pleased to welcome industry leader Semler IT into our partner network. Their expertise and leadership in the Danish market as well as their familiarity with our incadea system will make them a valuable member of our global network."
The incadea system, which is designed for automotive retailers outside the U.S. and Canada, is a flexible dealer management system that has more than 10,000 users in 27 countries. The system is built on Microsoft Windows(R) and Microsoft(R) Business Solutions Navision(R), one of the company's enterprise resource planning solutions. Flexible architecture enables the solution to be easily localized to support multiple languages, currencies and local business requirements by Reynolds partners such as Semler IT.
Semler IT Manager Kurt Rath said, "The market has expressed a strong interest in incadea due to the fact that it powerfully supports multi-brand dealerships and can be quickly adapted to meet country requirements. Today, many dealerships and importers are already familiar with the Microsoft Navision platform that incadea is built on. For our customers, this commonality will ensure swift implementation and ease of use."
As an incadea partner, Semler IT will be able to market factory integration and brand-specific functionality, to most brands currently represented in Denmark.
"We share a common vision with Reynolds and Reynolds. Our combined goal is to deliver systems and solutions that enable dealerships to more easily operate their business while increasing profitability and reducing costs. With incadea, we will do just that," said Rath.
