"NASCAR is one of the most popular spectator sports, and we're very enthusiastic about the 2005 race and continuing our successful relationship with California Speedway in the future."

Speedway President Bill Miller stated, "We are honored to have Stater Bros. as a major part of our upcoming event weekend, as well as an official status partner on everything we do at California Speedway. They are a first-class operation and approach their partnerships in the same manner as their core business. This will be a great relationship for all parties, but the great race fans in Southern California will benefit the most as Stater Bros. will be very active in event promotion and support in the marketplace."
