- Designers put together special collections to reflect characteristics of Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge brands - Show blends innovative automotive and fashion designs - Fashion designer, Emilia Valentina, uses deconstructed brand merchandise to create one-of-a-kind pieces - Gift bags valued at $200 each to be handed out at the show

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 14 -- The Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge display at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will take on the look of a New York fashion runway this Friday night when Chrysler Group hosts the "Celebration of Design Fashion Show" in conjunction with the Charity Preview.

In partnership with metro Detroit's Clear Magazine, the Chrysler Group has produced an event that will feature fashions from the spring 2005 collections of such designers as Betsey Johnson, Iceberg, Cesare Paciotti and Dolce Moda, while highlighting the company's award-winning 2005 products.

"Chrysler Group and Clear Magazine share a passion for exceptional design," said Julie Roehm, Director - Marketing Communications. "This one-of- a-kind event will blend fashions from exclusive designers with Chrysler Group's well-known reputation for industry-leading automotive design. It's sure to add even more glitz and glamour to one of the most significant annual events in metro Detroit, the Charity Preview."

Models wearing more than 70 unique outfits, coordinated to reflect the individual characteristics of each brand, will walk the runway during special brand segments and a grand finale. The Chrysler brand will open the show with fashions in silver, black, gold and white, followed by the Jeep brand with urban and earthy attire in yellow, green and brown. Dodge will close the brand portion of the show, featuring sexy and sleek clothing in NASCAR red, black and other bold colors.

The finale will showcase deconstructed clothing made of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge merchandise, combined with other materials, like vintage jewelry, to epitomize each of the three brands. The designs were created by internationally renowned designer Emilia Valentina and Managing Editor of Clear Magazine Ivana Kalafatic.

The fashion show will begin at 7:30 p.m. where the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge display areas converge. Prior to the start of the show, 1,000 Charity Preview attendees will receive a voucher for a gift bag valued at more than $200, courtesy of Chrysler, Clear Magazine and the companies that contributed items. Among the gifts included are a certificate for Laura Mercier makeup, Karim Rashid designed Copco bottle openers, a gift certificate from Thomas Pink (available at Marshall Field's), Sean Deeson music CDs, a cigar, Tennis & Golf Company certificate, a Starbucks gift certificate and a bottle of Vitaminwater(TM). All of the items were donated by the manufacturers. Gift bags may be picked up at the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge displays after the fashion show.

Clear Magazine is also producing a six-page editorial feature on Chrysler Group design, including a profile of Trevor Creed, Chrysler Group's Senior Vice President - Design. His team is responsible for the design of the Chrysler 300 -- the most awarded vehicle in history -- along with the trend- setting Chrysler PT Cruiser, the all-new Dodge Charger and this year's concept vehicles -- the Jeep Hurricane, Jeep Gladiator and Chrysler Firepower!
