ARCA RE/MAX Series Partners With Weld Wheel Industries 
 

TOLEDO OH (1-12-05)  ARCA RE/MAX Series officials announced a new partnership with Weld Wheel Industries under which the renowned manufacturer of high-performance aftermarket wheels will be the Official Wheel of the ARCA RE/MAX Series through 2007.

 

"We're delighted to be associated with a high-quality partner such as Weld Wheel Industries," said ARCA Marketing Director Daren Havens. "Our goals will be to provide Weld Wheel Industries some valuable marketing opportunities through the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Given Weld Wheel's strong industry position, their commitment to our series elevates and helps carry the series forward."

 

Weld Wheel Industries, founded by championship race driver Greg Weld in 1968, has been committed to producing cutting-edge forged alloy wheels of the highest quality to enhance the performance and appearance of race cars, off-road trucks, luxury pickups, SUV's, premium motor cars, customs, hot rods and motorcycles.

Celebrating its 53rd year of operation in 2005, the 23-event ARCA RE/MAX Series race schedule takes the series to some of the nation's most prestigious superspeedways, including Daytona Int'l Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Nashville Superspeedway, Kentucky Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Michigan Int'l Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Gateway Int'l Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway. The series will expand to new markets in 2005 with races at the Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin and Lanier National Speedway in Braselton Georgia. In addition, the series will compete at traditional short track venues Salem Speedway in Indiana, Toledo Speedway in Ohio, Berlin Raceway in Michigan, Lake Erie Speedway in Pennsylvania and the mile dirt state fairgrounds tracks in Illinois at Springfield and DuQuoin in '05.

 

The 2005 ARCA RE/MAX Series opens with the 42nd annual Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway on February 12th, LIVE on SPEED Channel at 4 pm Eastern.
