North American International Auto Show to Utilize Codespear's SmartMSG Technology

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Jan. 12, 2005 -- Codespear, LLC announced today that it has been retained by the 2005 North American International Auto Show to assist the multiple law enforcement agencies and private companies with security operations and communications through their flagship product "SmartMSG" -- a multi-lingual, distributed and secure communication platform providing communications interoperability, voice and data support, alert notification and collaboration functions. The application is designed to support and augment incident response, emergency preparedness and response, continuity of operations and major operational events by enabling fully integrated two-way communications (voice and data) between multiple agencies, communities and first responders regardless of communication device.

CEO, Paul Hodges, III started the company to address the critical emergency communications needs and lack of interoperability issues as recently stated in the 9/11 Commission Report as a key factor in the deaths of at least 121 firefighters in the World Trade Center.
