Auto Centrix, Inc. Covered in Article by Journalist

By Maria Esposito

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 12 -- Auto Centrix, Inc. (ATCX.PK) The auto remarketing industry has not always enjoyed the best reputation. In spite of its sometimes dubious status, it is still a $390 billion dollar industry in North America alone with plenty of room for growth. This potentiality is a fact that Auto Centrix Inc (Pink Sheets: ATCX), based in Halifax, Nova Scotia is well aware of. Led by President and CEO, David Highmore, the company has assembled a management team with extensive experience in all aspects of the automotive industry. Since 2001, they have conducted in depth research into the industry with particular emphasis on the vehicle remarketing sector. This research is part and parcel of the company's mission statement of providing Internet based solutions for the remarketing of heavy equipment and it has inspired the design and development of a variety of automotive related technologies that is revolutionizing the way vehicles are bought and sold.

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dominion Auto Auctions, the company sponsors public auctions both on and off site that emphasize reliability and customer service. Even though the vehicles are sold "as is", the company maintains strict adherence to all governmental disclosure regulations. Highmore is quick to point out that expanding the business does not mean that reputability must be sacrificed.

Growth is clearly a major company objective in 2005. Two years ago, the company generated $1.4 million in revenue. As of December 1, 2004, they have generated $3.1 million. That figure will certainly be beaten in the coming year as Auto Centrix puts the finishing touches on its expansion plans. Management has already negotiated with the Nova Scotia government to purchase land to expand the facility. A larger operations area will allow the company to offer additional services like floor financing and expanded conditioning and detailing.

January 2005 will see the introduction of the Auto Centrix Simulcast Real Time Auction System Broadcast. This proprietary software will allow Internet users the opportunity to bid simultaneously with people who are present at a live auction. Auto Centrix has entered into an unlimited licensing agreement with the creator of the software, Vortex Solutions Inc. Of Montreal, Canada. This agreement grants exclusive and unlimited licensing rights to Auto Centrix with a trigger price when they are ready to purchase the software outright.

The company has also entered into another agreement with Vortex Solutions to obtain the exclusive worldwide rights to market, promote and sell their proxy-bid salvage auction software. This software offers bidders the capability of setting their maximum bid on a unit and then letting the system do their bidding for them up to that limit. The software also offers in depth condition reporting and advanced search and reporting capabilities. Both of these software modules signal a new era of customer service in the vehicle remarketing industry.

Auto Centrix is currently putting together its marketing plan to promote this new service to the $78 billion dollar North American salvage remarketing industry. In fact, management is not only targeting existing clients, they are also promoting to potential clients who are in both the salvage and vehicle remarketing business. If all goes as planned, Auto Centrix will move to the OTC Bulletin Board by the end of first quarter 2005.
