Isuzu Provides Support for Sumatra Earthquake and Indian Ocean Tsunami Relief Efforts

Additional Contribution Reflects Isuzu's Commitment to Those in Need

CERRITOS, Calif., Jan. 11 -- Isuzu Motors America, Inc., announced today that its parent company, Isuzu Motors Limited (IML), and IML's overseas affiliates have decided to contribute an additional 30 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support disaster relief in areas affected by the severe earthquake off the coast of Sumatra and the subsequent giant tsunamis in the Indian Ocean.

This contribution was preceded by a 4 million baht (approximately 11 million yen) donation pledged to the Rajaprachanugrou Foundation, an aid organization, by our local subsidiaries and affiliates, distributors, dealers, etc. on December 30, 2004, bringing the Group's total donation amount to about 41 million yen, or approximately $395,000.
