The SIRIUS Satellite Radio units will be a factory-installed option on 2006 model-year vehicles, including the Ford F-150, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Mark LT and Mercury Mountaineer. The radios will be offered on additional future models.
"We are pleased that Ford has chosen Delphi satellite radios for these new and upcoming products," said Beth Schwarting, Delphi general director of sales and marketing. "Consumers who experience satellite radio clearly love it."
The new business expands Delphi's supply of audio products to Ford. Delphi supplies AM/FM/CD playback head units to Ford today on various Ford models.
