Accuride Corporation Files Registration Statement with the SEC for an Initial Public Offering

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--Jan. 1, 20050, 2005--Accuride Corporation announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. A portion of the shares will be issued and sold by Accuride and a portion will be sold by certain stockholders of Accuride.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and UBS Investment Bank are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.
