TRG / TRG East - Daytona test Sunday

ready for race week

TRG and TRG East continued to improve their performance during the final day
of testing for the Rolex 24 At Daytona, scheduled for Feb. 5 and 6 at
Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. Andy Lally posted the
teams' fastest lap of the final day, covering the 3.56-mile infield road
course in one minute 57.597 seconds in the No. 65 champions Porsche 911 GT3
Cup car. He and his co-driver Hugh Plumb shared the team's fast-lap honors
through the three-day test, but Jay Policastro set the quickest team time in
the final session (1.59.879), driving the No. 64 Daytona defenders Porsche
he shares with Miguel Amaral, Pedro Couceiro and his father Joe Policastro.

Lally and Plumb alternated driving stints with Kevin Buckler, Marc Bunting
and Carlos de Quesada.

TRG East

Three drivers of the No. 61 TRG East Porsche finished on the SGS class
podium in the 2004 Rolex 24 - Dave Lacey, Greg Wilkins and Mark Wilkins.
They're hungry for another strong finish this year, driving the No. 61 TRG
East Porsche with Robert Nearn and David Shep.

"Finishing third in class in the 24 Hours of Daytona was a thrill and the
only thing better would be a win. That's what we're here to do," Greg
Wilkins said. "We have a good team of drivers, we have a good crew, we've
made great progress all weekend long and right now I think we're in a good
position to be competitive when we get to the race. There's going to be lots
of good competition here this year, so to have a great finish would be a
real thrill."

Team16

Three 16-year-olds are racing in the Rolex 24 for the first time this year -
Colin Braun, Adrian Carrio and Brad Coleman. Veteran racer Ross Bentley
shares the No. 16 Team16 Porsche with them, providing coaching and mentoring
support. Asked to describe the best part of racing at Daytona, their replies
were varied as their experience:

Braun - "The best part about driving in this race is all of the traffic.
It's fun for me."

Carrio - "To be with all of the top drivers in the world and to say that I
was there."

Coleman - "The best part is the historical value and importance of this
race."

TRG is also fielding the No. 62 Porsche Club Japan Porsche (drivers Akira
Fujita, Akira Hirakawa, Takashi Inoue, Kiichi Takahashi and Hiroshi Wada)
and the No. 63 traders Porsche (Derek Clark, Pat Flanagan, Dave Master and
Marc Sluszny).
