MobileToys Becomes a Monster National Service Partner for iCruze
BRISBANE, Calif.--Jan. 4, 2005--Monster(R) is proud to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Massachusetts-based MobileToys Incorporated to become Monster's National Service Provider for iCruze(TM). Under the agreement, MobileToys will license the product's InstallCard as well as provide managed installation services for promoting the sales of iCruze product by offering customers a professional installation solution across a nationwide dealer network."We are very pleased to partner with MobileToys, one of the industry's most recognized and respected installation services providers," said The Head Monster, Noel Lee. In conjunction with Sheridan, Wyo.-based SoundGate, Monster's iCruze is an interface that enables the connection of an iPod to a factory or aftermarket radio through the car's existing CD changer port. An optional display is available as well. The iCruze display is a multi-line, 20-character backlit LCD display that highlights information such as song title and artist information. Since the iCruze is a direct connect to the automobile's sound system via the CD changer port, sound quality is incredibly clear.
The InstallCard is a patent pending merchandising solution designed to simplify the process of purchasing and scheduling professional installation services provided by InstallerNet members. Each InstallCard is uniquely numbered to identify the InstallerNet service partner and program specifics. The company maintains the website www.InstallCard.com to process activations and schedule product installations. Monster will enclose an InstallCard in every iCruze(TM) product that will require installation. Each InstallCard will have a unique number and will direct the customer to the InstallCard web site or a toll-free telephone number for activation. A designated numbering group will be assigned to each product category so that the product can be easily identified during the InstallCard activation. The InstallCard will include easy instructions for the customer to understand the offering and its activation procedure. InstallerNet also provides 24/7 customer service to assist with InstallCard activation and installation scheduling.
InstallerNet is a nationwide network of professional mobile electronics installers formed to provide local installation services for retailers and manufacturers that deliver installable mobile electronics products through non-installing channels.
