The event is hosted by the Junior Executives (JE) of the Detroit Economic Club and open to the general public. The Detroit Economic Club (DEC) was formed in 1934 as a platform for the discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues and is recognized nationwide as a prominent speaking venue. The Junior Executives comprise the future generation of DEC members and business leaders. JE's host formal events three to four times annually and meet the first Wednesday of each month.
