Farmers Insurance Names Cindy Vance Agent of the Year

LOS ANGELES--Dec. 2, 20047, 2004--Cindy Vance, a Farmers agent and Registered Representative in Sussex, Wisconsin, has been named Farmers Insurance Group's Agent of the Year for 2004. She was selected from the 14,000 eligible Farmers agents. In 2002, Cindy Vance was honored with Life and Financial Services Agent of the Year. Serving thousands of customers, Vance has developed strong relationships in the Waukesha, Washington and Milwaukee County areas.

In addition to being the top agent of the year, Cindy Vance will also ride the Farmers float titled "Protecting Your Home and Family" in the 2005 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, on New Year's Day.

"Cindy has received our most distinctive honor because she's been a consistent contributor during her career," said Martin D. Feinstein, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Farmers Insurance Group. "Her professionalism, leadership, profitability and civic participation exemplifies all that is best about Farmers," added Feinstein.

As a top Farmers agent, Vance has also attended Farmers' Championship awards celebration ten times and has attended President's Council seven times. Championship and President's Council are annual conferences that celebrate Farmers' most elite group of agents and district managers. She is also recognized nationally as achieving the Million Dollar Round Table.

Vance also speaks at state and district conferences to educate new agents on the staffing, time-management and balanced production of running an agency. Vance is also active in the community as well as serving at the school her two children attend.

"It is such an achievement to receive these honors and recognition which distinguishes my hard work and our entire agency staff," said Vance.
