The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Chicago (Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle, and Mercury Montego), Dearborn Truck Plant (Ford F-Series), Kansas City Truck (Ford F-Series), Kansas City SUV (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Ohio (Mercury Mariner), and Lorain (Ford Econoline).
Next week (December 27), production will be suspended at all North American assembly plants because of the annual holiday vacation. As previously announced, all plants will resume production on Monday January 3 except Hermosillo (Ford Focus), Michigan Truck (Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator), Oakville (Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey), St. Thomas (Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis), and Wixom (Lincoln Town Car, Lincoln LS, and Ford Thunderbird). Production at these plants will resume January 10.
