Federal-Mogul Aftermarket Awarded 'Vendor of the Year' by Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 22, 2004 -- Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance -- Federal-Mogul's largest Aftermarket customer -- recently awarded the company's Aftermarket group with its prestigious Vendor of the Year 2004 Award. The company was also honored with awards for Outstanding Marketing Support, Outstanding Manpower Support and Outstanding Web site. Additionally, Federal-Mogul was recognized for Outstanding Shipping Performance for the following brands: Anco(R), Champion(R), Fel-Pro(R), Precision(R) and Wagner Lighting(R).

"It is truly the ultimate honor for a company to achieve Vendor of the Year, but for the Alliance to also recognize us in these additional critical categories is a tremendous compliment," said Bob Egan, vice president, Aftermarket sales - the Americas.

These awards were based on a vote from 56 Alliance shareholders and awarded to Federal-Mogul on Dec. 7, 2004, at the Alliance Winter Shareholder Meeting in Boca Raton, Florida.

Federal-Mogul also received the Vendor of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002. The awards were accepted by Executive Vice President of Worldwide Aftermarket Operations Joseph Felicelli; Vice President of National Accounts and Central Zone Aftermarket Sales Roy Kent; National Program Group Sales Manager Rick Summerville; Sales and Marketing Manager Cindi Masinick; Aftermarket General Manager-Canada Mike Holland; National Program Group Sales Manager Peter Witkamp and Egan.
