Hooters' USAR Pro Cup Driver  Mark McFarland and TRIMSPA(r) Helped Bring
Toys for Tots to Mooresville, NC 

 

Cedar Knolls, NJ (December 16, 2004) - Community members got in the
spirit of the holidays during the Toys for Tots charity drive by
dropping off new, unwrapped toys for needy children in the area. The
event, held at the Imaging Center at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center
in Mooresville, NC, featured a special guest appearance by Mark
McFarland, driver of the Jr. Motorsports Chevrolet in the Hooters' USAR
Pro Cup Series (Southern Series) and was broadcast live by Kiss 95.1
FM's Yankee Pete. 

 

McFarland met fans, signed autographs and took pictures with attendees.
In support of the event, TRIMSPA donated 2,000 hats and 2,000 die-cast
toys cars to the charity and had plenty of goodies for the crowd.  

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to
collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts
to needy children in the community. The goal for this event is to send a
message to youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible,
productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
