Goodyear Names Damon Audia Assistant Treasurer
AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 10, 2004 -- Damon J. Audia has joined The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as assistant treasurer, capital markets.
Audia, 33, joins Goodyear from Delphi Corporation, where he served in a variety of treasury and financial roles since 1998. In his new position, Audia will have responsibility for all financing transactions for Goodyear globally.
"We are pleased to welcome Damon to Goodyear," said Darren R. Wells, vice president and treasurer. "His experience and skills will be an asset as we implement strategies to lengthen our debt maturities and ultimately seek increased equity funding to improve our credit profile."
Audia holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan, and earned a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University.
