The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Chicago (Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle, and Mercury Montego), Dearborn Truck Plant (Ford F-Series), Kansas City Truck (Ford F-Series), Kansas City SUV (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Norfolk (Ford F-Series), Ohio (Mercury Mariner), and Lorain (Ford Econoline). In addition, Saturday overtime is scheduled at Chicago and Norfolk (two shifts each) on December 11.
Next week (December 13), all North American assembly plants will be operating except Twin Cities (Ford Ranger) where production will be suspended for two weeks prior to the annual holiday shutdown to adjust inventories. Production is scheduled to resume at Twin Cities on Monday, January 3.
