Tekron Inc. Initiates Discussions with Chinese Government for Environmental Cleanup with Goals set for 2008 Olympics

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Dec. 8, 2004--Tekron, Inc. (TKRN:OTCBB) today announced that it has initiated discussions with top officials of the Government of the Peoples' Republic of China to discuss Tekron's potential role in a multi-year environmental cleanup with goals set for the Olympics in Beijing in 2008. Discussions will be lead by Luigi Brun, Chief Executive Officer of Tekron Inc. and Dr. Zhang, Director of the Environmental Department of the National Chinese Government.

One of China's main priorities as it progresses into the 21st century is to develop and utilize technologies that safely, cheaply and efficiently solve the major environmental challenges that it faces in the future. During the past 2 decades, China has evolved into a status of one-fifth of the world's population while its gross domestic product has increased over 6 times 1980 levels. As a result of this growth, the country faces major political and social problems which have gathered the world's attention. Equally as important and potentially more devastating to the rest of the world are serious environmental problems resulting from overpopulation, rapid industrialization, and overuse of natural resources that could potentially threaten the health of China's 1.2 billion people.

Luigi Brun, Chief Executive Officer of Tekron Inc. commented, "Environmental cleanup in the Peoples' Republic of China is of paramount importance to the Chinese Government and the rest of the world. China is the world's largest pollutant emitter with SO2 emission around 20 million tons every year. The discharge of water waste amounts to about 43 billion tons annually, polluting 90% of urban waters."

In June 2002, China enacted the Cleaner Production Promotion Law, which established demonstration programs for pollution remediation in ten major Chinese cities, and designated several river valleys as priority areas.
