FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 8, 2004 -- Alamo Rent A Car announced today that it has begun taking reservations for its first San Juan, Puerto Rico location, which will open on January 1, 2005. Located at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Alamo will offer its San Juan customers access to a fleet of 700 vehicles, including Pontiac Sunfire, Suzuki Aerio, Chevrolet Cavalier, Chevrolet Malibu, Dodge Intrepid, Chevrolet Trail Blazer and Chevrolet Venture.

As the primary airport hub for leisure and business travelers to the Caribbean, the opening of Alamo in San Juan is strategically important to the Company, as it extends its reach in the Americas and helps strengthen Alamo's position as the official rental car of the family vacation.
