Stuttgart/Shanghai, Dec 06, 2004 The opening of a Maybach Center in Shanghai marks another addition to DaimlerChrysler’s global network of exclusive sales outlets for the Maybach high-end luxury brand. The center is the brand’s second sales outlet in China and the first in Shanghai, one of Asia’s fastest-growing cities. The first Maybach Center in China was opened a few weeks ago in Beijing, and the brand’s market presence will be further strengthened in Asia in the first half of 2005 when the third Maybach Center opens in the city of Guangzhou.
Around 20 Maybach Centers have been set up in Europe, Asia and the Middle East since the Center of Excellence was opened in Sindelfingen in the summer of 2002. In addition to the Maybach Centers, the brand has also established 70 Maybach studios in the United States. DaimlerChrysler has also developed a unique customer service concept for the Maybach that sets new standards in its focus on exclusivity. Specially trained Personal Liaison Managers are responsible for serving customers, and these individuals are not only qualified to deal with technical issues but are also very well informed about the lifestyle of their customers, whom they serve throughout the entire life of the vehicle. This concept, which is unique in the automotive industry, guarantees optimum quality of service.
