UPS Takes Over University Career Centers For Mass Peak Season Hiring Events
ATLANTA--Dec. 6, 2004--During the course of two days this week, UPS will interview hundreds of University of Georgia and Georgia State University students for part-time seasonal driver helper positions. UPS representatives will set up computers in the career centers at the two schools to process, interview and hire applicants. Students will have the opportunity to complete the entire employment process in a day. UPS will visit Athens on Tuesday, Dec. 7, and GSU on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.The student workers will start after final exams and will work in zip codes close to their homes, giving them two full weeks to earn extra cash for the holidays.
