DaimlerChrysler Services Supports Economic Development with Rebirth of Englewood Community Development Corporation

Donation of $10,000 Benefits Englewood and West Englewood Communities Inaugural Fund Raising Event

CHICAGO, Dec. 3 -- DaimlerChrysler Services, the finance arm of DaimlerChrysler, today announces a $10,000 sponsorship of the Rebirth of Englewood Community Development Corporation's (ROE CDC) inaugural Diamond Gala. The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Field Stadium Club, 333 West 35 St. in Chicago. Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich will serve as the keynote speaker.

DaimlerChrysler Services shares the mission of ROE CDC as they provide economic development opportunities for individuals in need in the Englewood and West Englewood communities. DaimlerChrysler Services is closely tied with the city and the region and seeks to support programs that enhance the quality of life in the communities where we operate.

"We hope our support will generate additional educational seminars related to automotive financing and good credit health in the future."

Core programs offered by the Rebirth of Englewood include job training, housing, business, social service, arts and cultural development.
