John Deere to Redeem Asset Backed Notes

MOLINE, Ill., Dec. 2, 2004 -- John Deere Owner Trust 2001 today announced that is has elected to redeem on December 15, 2004 all of its outstanding Class A-4 3.78% Asset Backed Notes and make the final distribution on its Asset Backed Certificates on such date. The redemption price of the Notes and the final distribution on the Certificates will be equal to the then outstanding principal amount of the Notes and Certificates. December 15, 2004 is also a monthly Payment Date for the Notes and Certificates. Payment on the Notes will be made by the Trustee, The Bank of New York, Corporate Trustee Administration, 101 Barclay Street, Floor 8 West (ABS Unit), New York, NY 10286. Payment on the Certificates will be made upon presentation and surrender of the Certificates at Deutsche Bank Trust Company Delaware (formerly Bankers Trust (Delaware)), 1011 Centre Road, Suite 200, Mailstop WIL02-0200, Wilmington, DE 19805.
