Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge Dealer's Credit Evaluation System Adds a New Feature with RouteOne

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Dec. 2, 2004 -- Chrysler Financial, a DaimlerChrysler Services North America business unit, announced today the successful first month's launch of a major improvement to our Automated Credit Evaluation (ACE) system with the addition of RouteOne, a credit aggregation management system. The new system was nationally launched over the last few weeks to more than 4,000 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge dealers in the United States.

RouteOne has been designed to provide dealerships with a single point-of- entry to submit credit applications to Chrysler Financial and other financial institutions, and provides the management tools necessary to effectively manage and track daily operations in the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department. This dealer-focused solution was designed with real-world dealership input and fits seamlessly into the dealership's current sales process.

"RouteOne provides a powerful system for managing a dealership's financing activities," said Kelly Mankin, Vice President - Chrysler Brands Marketing for DaimlerChrysler Services. "Users at the dealership will find the system reliable, fast and intuitive," Mankin added.

Key features of ACE featuring RouteOne include Deal Manager which acts as a repository for all credit applications and holds 60 days worth of contracts. Deal Manager offers real-time access to comprehensive reporting and analysis including advanced search and filtering capabilities.

"I have found that RouteOne has reduced my application processing time by 20 percent," said Larry Allison - F&I Manager at John Hoffer Dodge in Carthage, Mo. "This system puts the information that I need at my fingertips and is beneficial to my dealership, as well as to my customers."

Chrysler Financial is working on several productivity enhancements that will make the F&I process with its dealers more efficient and customer friendly. Vehicle incentives, customer payoff information and customer history information are a sample of the features that will be added to ACE featuring RouteOne exclusively in the coming months.

"The focus of our dealer-centered technology solution, including the addition of ACE featuring RouteOne, is to continue to invest in our dealers' long-term business success by providing products and services that are solely dedicated to helping them reach maximum efficiency and profitability," said Mankin.
