Hyundai Sets New Sales Record for November 2004
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 1, 2004 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 29,682 for the month of November, a new all-time sales record for the month and a seven percent increase over November 2003 sales. The award-winning Santa Fe SUV posted the best November sales in its history and the popular Sonata sedan, winner of the coveted J.D. Power award for initial quality in the entry mid-size segment, also had a best ever November. Sales of the new Tucson SUV continue to ramp up and sales in November more than doubled those in October.
"We're very pleased with November's record sales," said Hyundai's Vice President of National Sales Ed Bradley. "Tucson sales continue to grow as more consumers experience the great value, safety and versatility this vehicle offers. As the only vehicle in the U.S. with six standard airbags, ABS and electronic stability program with traction control as standard features all for less than $20,000, Tucson sales will continue to grow. Record sales of Santa Fe and Sonata prove that these vehicles, and all Hyundai vehicles provide the value, quality and styling that consumers expect today," he added.
All Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles sold in the U.S. are covered by The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty. Hyundai buyers are protected by a 10-year/100,000-mile power train warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection.
