Ford Credit Employees to Make Wishes Come True for More Than 650 Foster Children in 'Operation Good Cheer' Friday, Dec. 3
Ford Motor Credit Company employees have purchased and wrapped gifts for more than 650 Michigan foster children as part of "Operation Good Cheer," a holiday program sponsored by Child & Family Services of Michigan, Inc.
Under the program, foster children made Christmas wish lists, and Ford Credit employees went shopping. The wrapped gifts will be stored in Ford Credit's lobby, and loaded onto semi-trailers to be delivered in time for Christmas. Ford Credit has taken part in "Operation Good Cheer" since 1984, fulfilling Christmas wishes for more than 10,000 Michigan foster children.
On Friday, Dec. 3, Ford Credit Executive Vice President of Human Resources Bill Dirksen will present a mountain of more than 2,000 gifts to Sharon Vichcales, coordinator of "Operation Good Cheer."
