Detroit Economic Club Presents: Thirty-Ninth Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon

DETROIT, Nov. 29, 2004 -- The Detroit Economic Club (DEC) will host its Thirty-Ninth Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon for its members and guests on Monday, December 6, 2004. The event, which will be held at Cobo Center located at 1 Washington Boulevard in downtown Detroit, will run from 12 p.m. to 1:30 pm.

Four speakers, prominent in their respective industries, will deliver their 2005 Economic Outlook forecasts. They are: J.T. Battenberg, III, Chairman, President & CEO, Delphi Corporation: Automotive Forecast; Patrick Fehring Jr., President, Fifth Third Bank, Eastern Michigan: Finance Forecast; James. J. Cole, Executive Vice President, Skanska USA Building, Inc. and 2005 Chairman, Associated General Contractors, Greater Detroit Chapter: Construction Forecast; Richard E. Blouse, Jr., President & CEO, Detroit Regional Chamber: Small Business Forecast.

Tickets for the event are $30 for members, $35 for member spouses and guest of members and $45 for non-members. Full tables of 10 may also be reserved.

The DEC was established in 1934, and is recognized worldwide for its contribution to the discussion and promotion of economic, political and social issues. The club has nearly 2,000 members and is recognized as one of the premier speaking forums in the United States.
