SAE Symposium Will Address the Security, Safety, and Operational Efficiency Concerns in the Trucking Industry
WARRENDALE, Pa., Nov. 24, 2004 -- The SAE International symposium "Enhancing Heavy Truck Safety, Security and Efficiency Through Technology" will explore ways in which the trucking industry benefits from unique technological solutions to security, safety, and operational efficiency concerns. The symposium will be held December 1-2 in Phoenix, AZ at the Embassy Suites - North.
Hot topics include a TSA presentation on "Securing the Nation's Surface Cargo Systems;" a panel discussion titled "Deployment Benefits and Challenges;" static and dynamic vehicle demonstrations at the Exponent Track; tracking technologies and RFID; and safety and security systems.
