THQ Blows the Doors Off the Competition With the Release of NHRA(R) Drag Racing 2005 for PlayStation(R)2
Exclusive Licensing Deal Brings Gamers the Nitro Burning Thrills of NHRA Drag Racing
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 23 -- THQ Inc. today announced that NHRA(R) Drag Racing 2005(TM) for PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system is currently in development. This intensely competitive racing game, which is being developed by Lucky Chicken and will be published by THQ's ValuSoft division, will ship to retailers throughout North America during Summer 2005.

NHRA Drag Racing 2005 will launch players into the ultimate drag racing experience, putting them in control of an incredible 8,000+ horsepower of pure speed. Racing NHRA tracks from Pomona to Gainesville, gamers will go head-to- head against world champions like Tony Schumacher, Larry Dixon, Greg Anderson and many more. With adrenaline-charged vehicles including Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars and Pro Stock Cars, players will get behind the wheel of some of the most powerful dragsters to hit the asphalt.
