What makes AutoWeek so good? "It's a combination of cut-to-the-chase prose, a sense of fun, and our ability to deliver it all in a graphically engaging, short-fuse weekly format," says AutoWeek publisher Rich Ceppos.
"During the last three years we've evolved our editorial self with a broader range of content, new design and more striking covers," adds Ceppos. "But we'll never change our dedication to the highest quality writing and graphics. It's great to see it recognized by the IAMA judges."
The purpose of the IAMA is to recognize and encourage excellence in all forms of automotive media. Judging of entries is by peers. Writing is evaluated on accuracy of information, simplicity of presentation of technical information, style, quality of writing and editing. Graphics are evaluated on quality of design, typography, illustrations, reproduction, and overall effectiveness.
"It means an awful lot to us that the laurels come from our peers," adds Ceppos. "After all, no one knows better what's required to put out a great book than those who also do it every day. We thank them."
