Erkut Uludag Joins Roland Berger As Principal
TROY, Mich., Nov. 17, 2004 -- Erkut Uludag has joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a principal in the firm's Detroit office, according to Managing Partner Wim van Acker.
Uludag most recently was a senior project manager for A. T. Kearney's automotive practice in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to that he was a senior project engineer for Siebe Automotive Systems, a tier one supplier to original equipment manufacturers.

Uludag has extensive experience in corporate strategy, procurement strategy, supply-chain management, sales-and-distribution strategy and business-plan development. He has served various clients globally in the automotive, aerospace and telecommunications industries.
He led various cost-reduction projects for major OEMs including strategic sourcing and technical cost reduction initiatives. He also developed the sales and distribution channel strategy for a large global construction materials company, developed strategic business plans for various telecom companies and has conducted inventory management, new-vehicle purchasing and manufacturing capabilities assessments for large OEMs in the automotive and aerospace industries.
At Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Uludag's areas of practice will include automotive, heavy equipment manufacturing and engineered products.
Uludag holds MBA and engineering master's degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Istanbul Technical University.
