CENTRIX Financial Prepares for Three-Peat at 2004 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Nov. 12 -- On November 17th at Mexico's Baja Peninsula, 300 racers will race for three days over 1,000 miles through the region's rugged terrain, pristine beaches and rustic towns. Thirty US states and 10 countries will be represented.

Today, CENTRIX Financial, a national financial management and services firm, announced its Team CENTRIX line-up for the 2004 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 race. CENTRIX will be returning to the Baja 1000 for the third consecutive year, having signed on as an event sponsor, as well as sponsor of the CENTRIX Financial Baja Challenge Class. Team CENTRIX will be fielding five cars to compete in the Baja Challenge Class, which Robert E. Sutton, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CENTRIX Financial, has won two years running.
This year Newman/Haas team owner, Paul Newman will race with Sutton. Other notable Team CENTRIX entries include: Indy Racing League driver Vitor Meira; Indy 500 winner, Danny Sullivan; Champ Car Drivers Michel Jourdain Jr., Oriol Servia and 2004 series champion Sebastien Bourdais; and Pikes Peak Hill Climb winners Jeff Zwart, Rod Millen and Rhys Millen.
