Chrysler Financial Reaches One Million Contract Mark in 2004

* Customer Drives Away in a New 2005 Dodge Magnum * Customer Released From Payment Obligation

BALTIMORE, Nov. 10 -- Chrysler Financial, a DaimlerChrysler Services business unit, celebrates one million contracts booked in one year. In commemoration of the occasion, Chrysler Financial released the one millionth customer from all payment obligations.

William J. Guthrie of Baltimore, Md. is the proud owner of an all-new Dodge Magnum courtesy of Chrysler Financial. He is the one-millionth customer who has taken advantage of the broad range of financial products offered by Chrysler Financial in 2004. With this newest contract, Chrysler Financial is now the preferred finance choice for more than 2.5 million customers in the United States.

"This is the second time in the company's history that we have reached one million customer contracts within a year's time," said Jerry Beverman - Vice President, Chrysler Brands Sales for DaimlerChrysler Services North America. "We attribute the increase in numbers to our successful partnership with the Chrysler Group and the more than 4,300 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge dealers."

Other initiatives contributing to this business success include aligning the Chrysler Financial and Chrysler Group business centers to ensure a stronger market approach, conducting feedback sessions with the dealer body to enhance the Chrysler Financial value proposition and providing the right technology to simplify doing business with Chrysler Financial.
