DealerTrack Toolbar Helps Dealers Access Ford, GM, Chrysler and Toyota Credit Application Systems

'Copy-paste' feature eliminates need to re-enter data into select application systems

Downloaded by over 40% of DealerTrack's franchised dealer customers in first four weeks

MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 10 -- DealerTrack, Inc., which operates North America's leading online automotive finance platform, today announced that at the request of its dealer customers, it recently introduced the DealerTrack ToolBar, which is free and available for downloading at http://www.dealertrack.com/.

The DealerTrack ToolBar incorporates an innovative "copy-paste" feature that eliminates the need for automotive dealers to re-enter data when moving from the DealerTrack(TM) platform to the web-based credit application systems of certain automotive finance companies. Specifically, the ToolBar currently can be used to copy information from DealerTrack directly into credit applications on:

   * DaimlerChrysler Services' Ace
   * Ford Motor Credit Company's CreditWeb
   * General Motors Acceptance Corporation's http://www.gmaccreditapp.com/
   * Toyota Financial Services' Dealer Daily

The ToolBar also includes a button that enables users to navigate to the DealerTrack home page with just one click. DealerTrack expects that future versions of the ToolBar will provide more functionality and compatibility with the application systems of additional financing sources.

Mark O'Neil, DealerTrack's president and chief executive officer, said, "We survey our dealer customers frequently and place a great deal of value on their feedback. The ability to use DealerTrack to connect with all their financing sources has consistently been the dealers' number one request. Dealers are responding very enthusiastically to the new functionality - more than 40 percent of our franchised dealer customers downloaded the free software in the first four weeks after it became available."

Mr. O'Neil continued, "With its new 'copy-paste' capability, the DealerTrack platform has taken another big step toward becoming the comprehensive credit application solution for auto dealers. As we announced separately today, the number of financing sources connected with DealerTrack has reached 100. Now, with the ToolBar, DealerTrack is the best place for dealers to start all their credit applications, since the platform provides access to DealerTrack's 100 financing sources and data can be copied and pasted into the largest captives' credit application systems with just a couple of clicks."
