Alamo Rent A Car and Disney Parks and Resorts Renew Integrated Marketing Alliance

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 9, 2004 -- Alamo Rent A Car has extended its marketing alliance with Walt Disney World(R) Resort in Orlando and Disneyland(R) Resort in California, furthering the relationship between the nation's leading leisure-oriented car rental company and Disney's Parks and Resorts. The agreement, which reaffirms Alamo's position as the official rental car company of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, will include new marketing and promotional opportunities and special offers for Alamo and Disney customers.

As the official rental car company of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, Alamo continues to strengthen its position as America's leading car rental company for the family vacation. Alamo will serve as the primary corporate sponsor of the new Mullholland Madness ride at Disney's California Adventure(TM) Park at the Disneyland Resort and will sponsor the Tomorrowland Transit Authority ride at the Magic Kingdom(R) located at the Walt Disney World Resort.

"We are pleased to announce our continued alliance with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts," said John MacDonald, Vice President of Marketing for Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc. "Most importantly, leisure travelers will continue to benefit from our marketing alliance, which offers Disney theme park visitors exclusive promotions when choosing Alamo Rent A Car."

Randy A. Garfield, Executive Vice President of Sales and Travel Operations for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and President of the Walt Disney Travel Company, added, "Alamo's positioning as the 'official rental car of the American vacation' makes this a natural alliance with the guests of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts."

Alamo will continue to promote the alliance in newspaper and television advertising, at its rental facilities and on its website. Alamo also will maintain its outbound call-transfer program designed to connect Alamo customers to Disney for multi-day theme park ticket sales. In addition, Alamo retains its position as the official rental car supplier for Walt Disney Travel Company, Inc., one of the country's largest tour operators, specializing in Disney vacation packages to Southern California and Central Florida.

The Alamo Rent A Car brand was acquired by Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc. and its affiliates in October 2003. The worldwide organization employs more than 14,000 associates, has more than 3,200 locations in 83 countries and serves customers with a fleet of more than 217,000 automobiles.

Since Walt Disney opened Disneyland park on July 17, 1955, in Anaheim, Calif., Disney parks and resorts have become the most popular and highly attended theme parks in the world. Since the 1950s, the parks and resorts division has grown significantly -- in the past 18 months alone, three theme parks on three different continents have opened. In addition to theme parks and resorts, the division comprises Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney Cruise Line, Anaheim Sports and ESPN Zone sports themed dining.
