Miller Industries Announces Australian Military Order
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Nov. 9, 2004 -- Miller Industries, Inc. ("the Company") today announced production has commenced on the manufacture of 63 heavy-duty towing and recovery units under a contract with Mack Trucks Australia Pty. Ltd. to provide units to the Australian Military. The contract, valued at approximately $10 million, is the largest single order for towing and recovery equipment in the Company's history.
The initial production of up to eight units is scheduled for delivery to the Australian Military by the end of 2004, with production and delivery of the remaining units scheduled through mid-2005.
