Terion Announces FleetView Product Enhancement - The Trailer Dashboard

PLANO, Texas--Nov. 9, 2004--Terion, the leading provider of trailer fleet management systems with over 80,000 devices installed, today released the latest enhancement to its FleetView(R) 3 trailer management system. The Trailer Dashboard consists of a set of reports designed to provide the key operational metrics needed to better manage a trailer fleet, all at the user's fingertips.

Similar to the dashboard in an automobile, the Trailer Dashboard provides operational metrics at a glance in a convenient format. A unique feature of this enhancement is the ability to receive the reports automatically via e-mail at a user-defined frequency (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly). Examples of information provided by the Trailer Dashboard include:

-- Dormancy Recap Report - ranks trailers based on how long they have been at a location sitting idle, and if they're loaded or unloaded. Based on this information, trailers can be moved back into service more quickly resulting in more trailer turns and an overall improvement in trailer utilization.

-- Trailer Pool Status Summary - provides a snapshot of each trailer pool, comparing the desired trailer pool size with the actual number of trailers at that location. This information allows the trailer manager to quickly and easily monitor the deployed trailer pools, and add trailers to locations under the desired size ensuring the fleet is efficiently deployed.
