Stephen Machin to lead Red Dot Europe



SEATTLE, Wash., USA (Nov. 2, 2004) -- Red Dot Corp. has named Stephen 
Machin managing director of its European business and manufacturing 
operation, Red Dot Europe.

As managing director, Machin is responsible for leading and integrating 
all the elements of Red Dot's engineering, sales administration, 
assembly, and product distribution in Europe. He is based at Red Dot 
Europe's headquarters in Ipswich, Suffolk, U.K.

Before stepping into his current role, Machin was Red Dot Europe's 
director of business development. Since joining Red Dot Europe in June 
2001, sales have doubled and the division has become profitable.

Machin reports to Randy Gardiner, president of Red Dot. The Seattle 
company is a worldwide leader in the design and production of heating, 
ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and replacement parts 
for trucks, buses, off-highway, and military vehicles.

"Stephen has done an outstanding job over the past three years in 
managing Red Dot Europe to profitability and easing its transition to a 
manufacturing operation," said Gardiner. "He is well prepared to lead 
and grow Red Dot Europe."

Machin is responsible for 20 employees.
