$ 1 Million at Stake Today in Phoenix

$1 Million on the Line for Texaco/Havoline Customer

AVONDALE, Ariz., (November 6, 2004) --- Clarence Moody could leave
Phoenix International Raceway tomorrow $1 million richer.

Moody, a 76-year-old from Mustang, Okla., is one of three grand prize
winners as guests of ChevronTexaco this weekend as Havoline celebrates
its 100th Anniversary with the $1 Million Birthday Bash consumer
promotion.

Yesterday, the three grand prize winners drew Jamie McMurray's
qualifying position for Sunday's Checker Auto Parts 500 presented by
Havoline at Phoenix International Raceway. Moody drew the number ten. As
fate would have it, McMurray wound up qualifying the No. 42
Texaco/Havoline Dodge in the 10th position. As a result, Moody is now
eligible for the $1 million grand prize.

If McMurray wins tomorrow's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race at Phoenix, Moody
will win $1 million. In addition, Anna Bachmann and Patrick Cadigan, the
other two grand prize winners, will receive $100,000.

Moody qualified through the Birthday Bash sweepstakes entry promotion
that ran May 1 - July 31, 2004. Moody is a long-time Havoline user that
still changes his own oil. He is an avid NASCAR fan, and this weekend
marks the first time he has attended a NASCAR race. Moody, who lost his
wife in 1998, has his son Bryon here with him. He retired from the civil
service after working 30 years at Tinker Air Force Base.

If he wins the $1 million, he will take some vacations, help his kids
out and make a few donations to charities.
