PRIMEDIA's MOTOR TREND Extends Brand with New Line of Car Accessories

PRIMEDIA Enterprises, the worldwide brand licensing division for PRIMEDIA Inc. , the leading targeted media company, today announced two new licensing deals that will expand the MOTOR TREND brand in the automotive accessories market. HEADLINE Products will produce a line of MOTOR TREND branded car care accessories and Northeastern Plastics, Inc. will create a line of MOTOR TREND branded automotive electrical products, such as booster cables, portable lighting, replacement battery accessories, and cord sets.

"PRIMEDIA's ability to turn its brands into successful product offerings is attractive to companies and advertisers who want to reach their own audiences in new ways. These deals accomplish that and they are being recognized as revenue enhancers in the process."

MOTOR TREND teamed with HEADLINE Products, a leading manufacturer for a variety of product categories which include household cleaning products, kitchen, automotive, electrical, electronics, personal care, toys, novelties and much more, to create a specialized line of car care accessories. The line of MOTOR TREND products will include spotlights, compressors, power inverters, jumpstart systems and other car care accessories and will be available at major retailers in the fourth quarter.

PRIMEDIA Enterprises is also working with Northeastern Plastics, Inc. a subsidiary of American International Industries Inc.(OTC:BB: AMIN), and a leading retail and wholesale supplier of automotive after-market and consumer durable electrical products, to develop a line of MOTOR TREND branded automotive electrical products.

These products will be available at automotive specialty retailers and major retailers in the fourth quarter.
