MIAMI, Nov. 5, 2004 -- Bentley Motors, Inc. has announced the availability of the Continental GT Mulliner Driving Specification, at the 2005 South Florida International Auto Show.

In the first major enhancement to the Continental GT, Bentley Mulliner has created a package which underscores the sporting nature of the very popular, and successful grand touring coupe.

The Mulliner Driving Specification package includes:

* 20-inch 2-piece, 7-spoke alloy sports wheels with bespoke Advan Sport 275/35 R20 tires.

  * Drilled alloy sports foot pedals and drivers' footrest.
  * Sporting gear lever, finished in knurled chrome and hide.
  * Bold two-tone leather and wood veneer combinations.
  * Diamond-quilted hide to facings, doors and rear quarter panels.
  * Embroidered "Bentley" marque emblem to the seat facings.
  *  Indented hide headlining.
  *  Dark-stained Burr Walnut, or, Piano-black veneer.

The new package marks the first occasion that Bentley Mulliner, the world's most respected coachbuilder, has been able to demonstrate its unique craft skills on the Continental GT.

Robin Page, Interior Design Manager for Bentley Motors, said: "When the Continental GT was first launched we intentionally made more of a grand touring statement in terms of its visual feel, especially inside the car. The GT has proved to be an unequivocal sales success around the globe. However, some potential buyers have demanded that the Continental GT reflect a more overtly sporting character, so the Mulliner Driving Specification was the obvious next step. Creating a different feel is as much about the tactile nature of a car's interior, as producing a stunning overall design."

Speaking at the reveal of the car in Miami, the Director of Marketing & Communications for Bentley Motors, Inc. David Goggins said: "The Continental GT has been an outstanding success in North America. To date we have delivered about 1,970 cars in this market, and we expect the Mulliner Driving Specification to appeal to an even wider group of Bentley enthusiasts."

The 2005 Continental GT is priced at $155,990, and the Mulliner Driving Specification package costs $8,490.
