Reinventing the Wheel: Davin Wheel Company Rolls Out 2005 Product Line; Unveils First Spinning/Non-Spinning Wheel

LAS VEGAS--Nov. 4, 2004--Davin Wheels, the originator of the first continuous motion wheel, reinforced its position as the industry innovator with the launch of its 2005 collection. Among Davin's hotly anticipated offerings are updated models of the Speed, Streetspin and Blak product lines as well as a groundbreaking addition to its popular Revolution line.

Revolution, the product line that put Davin on the map, is enhanced with the addition of the 6.0 series. Revolution 6.0 features a unique spinning/non-spinning application -the first of its kind. Davin created this next-generation of Revolution specifically with the consumer in mind. "We wanted to provide our customers with the absolute best of both worlds - and we accomplished that with the 6.0," said David Fowlkes Jr., President of Davin Wheel Company.

Depending on their mood or style preference, customers can opt to have spinning or non-spinning wheels with a few simple steps. Revolution 6.1 spinner is equipped with lock-down bolt access holes which, when repositioned to 'lock mode,' positions and locks the spinner to the base wheel, giving it a static appearance. With no special tools or expertise required, the entire process takes under 10 minutes. In non-spinning mode, the wheel achieves a strikingly modular 3D effect - a look different than any other wheel in the marketplace. Davin is the first manufacturer to produce this patented technology.

Another major development in the Revolution line is the addition of a 26" wheel - another first for Davin. The wheel is also offered in 20", 22" and 24" diameters. Revolution 6.0 features a chrome spinner and is available in three base wheel options - black, chrome, and rose gold, a new finish for 2005. The rose gold option was inspired greatly by the fashion and jewelry industry. "Davin is very tied into the vibrant world of fashion," states Fowlkes. "We are in sync with current trends and styles and wanted to bring that excitement to our product line." Fowlkes, who also serves as the company designer, is a self-proclaimed "watch fanatic." In recent years, he noticed many upscale watch designers including rose gold in their collections. According to the Jeweler's Keystone Circular (JCK), the jewelry industry's leading trade publication, colored metals like rose gold are among the latest jewelry trends. The distinct and stunningly rich base wheel hue is a perfect complement to the cool flash of the chrome spinner.

In addition to Revolution, the 2005 product line includes:

-- Davin Speed - Speed, Davin's first non-spinning performance wheel, is revamped with the addition of a third wheel color. Previously available in chrome and graphite, Davin has now included a black option. A three-piece, rotary-forged wheel, Speed boasts a hub-centric fitment for most vehicle applications. It further distinguishes itself from the market with an exclusive one-spoke, carbon fiber call-out in red or black as well as other details like graphic aluminum overlays and custom bolt-head designs. Available in 19 inch to 22 inch diameters with five- and seven-spoke designs, Speed has fitments for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Corvette and Viper, as well as luxury performance vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW and the new Chrysler 300C.

-- Davin BLAK - Blak Horizon is the new limited edition wheel in Davin's successful sport custom line. Featuring a fluted design, Horizon will specialize in fitments for GM trucks.

-- Streetspin by Davin - Streetspin offers "affordable luxury" to auto enthusiasts with the addition of the SS3 design. The SS3 is inspired by the 'Mobius Strip' theory. The Mobius Strip, also called the twisted cylinder, is a surface with one side and one edge immortalized by artist M. C. Escher. Base wheels will be available in diameters ranging from 19" to 24" and come in a chrome on chrome finish.

Davin's 2005 product collection will be available in mid-December 2004. For more information, please visit www.davinwheels.com or call 1-877-71-DAVIN.
