COLUMBUS, Ind.--Nov. 1, 2004--Cummins Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Tim Solso, will present at the Goldman Sachs Capital Goods Conference November 2, 2004 in New York City.

Mr. Solso's presentation is scheduled to begin at 2:25 p.m. and conclude at 3:05 p.m. EST.
