Richard Aho, President and CEO of Mile Marker International, Inc., said: "As we have repeatedly stressed, the timing of our military orders is intermittent, unpredictable and dependant upon government budgetary priorities and considerations. Sales of our patented hydraulic winches to the military totaled $214,891 in the third quarter of 2004, compared to $2,139,904 in the third quarter of 2003. We estimate that we have the potential for $30 million of future military orders over the next five years under the four contracts already received, and we have a bid outstanding for another substantial contract. The highlight of our third quarter's performance was the tremendous growth in our core non-military business. Sales of our core business products in the third quarter of 2004 were $3,727,748 compared to $1,682,291 during the same period in 2003. This represents more than a 120% sales increase in our non-military products. We have faith in the long term future of our Company despite the short-term volatility of our quarterly results due to the erratic timing of orders under our military contracts."
