Quaker State Racing Lands the 11th Position

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 29, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon, driver of the Quaker State Racing
Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car, positioned himself for a strong second day of
qualifying at this weekendıs AC Delco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals at The Strip
at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Pedregon currently sits in the 11th-qualifed position; logging a
4.877-second elapsed time at 317.94 mph. He commented on the first day.

³We were a little conservative in that run, but we wanted to get down the
track,² Pedregon noted. ³Iım pleased with how we opened up and I look to
step it up a little bit tomorrow. It should be a good day to qualify because
the weather looks good as well.²
