Recognizing Outstanding Customer Achievements in Business Process Management
COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 29 -- Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software for automating, managing and controlling processes today announced the recipients of its 2004 Enterprise Process Advantage Awards, which were presented at the company's global BPM Forum and User Conference on October 28th in Baltimore, Maryland.
With the creation of the Enterprise Process Advantage Award in 2003, Metastorm was the first company to recognize the outstanding results in business process management achieved by its customers through a formal award program. The awards program is run annually in conjunction with Metastorm's BPM Forum & User Conference.
For 2004, the awards recognize the best Business Process Management solution in three categories: Innovative Use of BPM Technology, Highest ROI from BPM Technology, and Mission Critical Use of BPM Technology in the areas of customer service, supply chain operations, risk management, or internal operations. Nominations for the awards are accepted from Metastorm's customer base, employees and partners.

* Innovative Use of BPM Technology -- Hogan & Hartson LLP, this global law firm with more than 1,000 attorneys has implemented Metastorm for a mission-critical new business intake process. Recognizing the need to enable highly mobile legal professionals to participate in key, time sensitive client matter and legal conflict reviews while away from the office, the team built a Metastorm e-Work BPM application for the Blackberry wireless device and has deployed it to more than 900 of the firm's partners, attorneys and other key employees. * Highest ROI from BPM Technology -- AMTI, a premier provider of comprehensive technical solutions to public and private sector clients. AMTI is both a Metastorm customer, using e-Work internally, and a Metastorm Partner, offering the product to its customers.
