Remote Dynamics Appoints Telematics Industry Veteran Vice President, Strategic Sales

RICHARDSON, Texas--Oct. 2, 20047, 2004--Remote Dynamics, Inc. , a leading provider of telematics-based management solutions for commercial fleets, today announced the appointment of Ernest L. Bayless in the newly created position of Vice President, Strategic Sales.

Prior to joining Remote Dynamics, Mr. Bayless was President and CEO of a respected, New York-based global satellite position provider. With 14 years of career experience in the telematics and wireless communications industries, Mr. Bayless worked in several start-up ventures, including Silicon Valley-based @Road, Inc. where he was a founding employee and held the position of Vice President of Strategic Sales. Additionally, he was involved in the start-up of NEXTEL Communications and Teletrac International.
