CENTRIX Financial Awarded 2004 FileNet Innovation Award

Denver-based Financial Services Firm has Increased Productivity, Information Sharing and Document Security

CENTENNIAL, Colo. and ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 27 -- CENTRIX Financial, a financial management and services firm, announced today that it has been awarded the 2004 FileNet Innovation Award for the Best Enterprise Content Management (ECM) application in the Financial Services category. The one-year project has resulted in improved efficiencies for CENTRIX and is expected to save the company $1.5 million annually in express shipping expenses.

"Using the FileNet P8 technology platform, the firm was able to design its new content management system by leveraging its current business processes and reducing staff training requirements because the new system did not alter how its staff used their existing systems."

The ECM application is an image repository that has been fully integrated with CENTRIX's existing production systems, which means that the content management platform has made information sharing, document security and accessibility more efficient than ever before.

A panel of industry analysts, members of the media, consultants and FileNet senior executives, judged this year's entries in five categories: Financial Services, Government, Insurance, Manufacturing/Utilities and Cross Industry.
