Halla Climate Systems Alabama Corporation to Open New Automotive Manufacturing Facility
Halla Climate Systems Alabama Corporation (HCSA), a Tier One automotive parts supplier to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing, will host a grand opening ceremony and tour of its new manufacturing facility in Shorter, Ala. on Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. (CST).
Alabama Governor Bob Riley is scheduled to attend the ceremony and tour, which will be open to the media.

The 135,000-square-foot HCSA facility in Shorter is 30 miles east of Montgomery, the home of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama. HCSA will provide front-end modules and heating and air conditioning systems to Hyundai for its 2005 Sonata and 2006 Santa Fe models.
The $28 million HCSA facility is expected to employ approximately 150 workers by 2006.
HCSA Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Visteon Corporation. Visteon also has a 70 percent equity stake in Halla Climate Control, which manages and operates HCSA.
